Kentucky Derby Museum Visits BES

RCMS Winter Carnival

Rockcastle County Middle School will host a Winter Carnival on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 5:00-7:30 PM.  There will be games, a silent auction, face painting, food and fun!  All proceeds will go toward an 8th grade end-of-the-year trip.

Kenna’s Kitchen Serves 1,375 Meals

The 12th annual Kenna’s Kitchen served approximately 1,375 meals to individuals throughout the community.  Thank you to all who participated by donating items and took the time to prepare and deliver meals.  This is something that many families/individuals anticipate each year.

Preschoolers Learn About Thanksgiving

Gobble, Gobble! Ms. Hannah’s preschool class dressed up as turkeys before sharing Thanksgiving Dinner with family members on Wednesday, November 20.

RES Veteran’s Day Program

On Monday, November 11th Roundstone Elementary had a spectacular Veteran’s day. Preschool Students Make Care Packages for Deployed Sailors

Preschool student Tessa Begley’s father, Bryan Begley, is currently deployed with US Navy on the USS Cowpens until spring. All of the MVES preschool classes brought in items for care packages to be mailed to Tessa’s father and other sailors on his ship.
