    In Honor of Mrs. Carolyn Hunt

    In recognition of breast cancer awareness month, the staff at Brodhead Elementary School showed their support by wearing pink. The fight against cancer is a cause that is very close to all of our hearts. We would like to dedicate this short video clip to our own Ms. Carolyn Hunt.

    MVFD Visits MVES Preschool

    October 7th – October 11th was Fire Safety week!  The Mt. Vernon Fire Department came to MVES Preschool and discussed fire safety.  Students got to explore the fire trucks, see a fire fighter in uniform, and spray a fire extinguisher (filled with water).

    Roundstone Elementary 3rd grade held a Presidential Parade on October 15, 2013.     Hannabeth Owens Competes in State Golf Championship

    Hannabeth Owens, a sophomore at RCHS competed in the KHSAA Girls State Golf Championship for the 4th year in a row.
