RCHS Students Place 1st in Small Engine Contest

The Rockcastle County FFA Small Engine team placed 1st overall in the Small Engine contest at the Kentucky State Fair. Each team member received a $10,000 scholarship to Ohio Technical College. Congratulations to the following members: Spencer Childress, Spencer Baldwin, John Dillingham, and Larkan Prewitt.

RCHS JROTC Rifle Team Recieves Grant from National Rifle Association

Wear PINK In Support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The RCHS football team and Rockcastle Regional have teamed up again this year to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month by having an awareness night at our game on Oct 12th. We will be selling t-shirts again this year with a “pink” theme. All proceeds will go to the Hope Fund benefiting LOCAL cancer patients.

College Information and Planning Night

College Information Night for parents of 11th and 12th graders will be held on September 27th at 7:00 p.m. We will have lots of information about applying for college, financial aid, scholarship deadlines, etc. We will also be able to answer any questions that students and parents have about post-secondary plans.
