Board of Education Scholarship Awarded

To honor the service of the 2013 Rockcastle County Board of Education, a $250 scholarship was awarded to a Rockcastle County High School senior based on class rank, GPA, College and Career Readiness measures, community service activities and commitment to a specific college and major field of study.

RCMS Quilt Block Design Competition

RES Student Wins Speech Contest

RES student, Shelby Newland, won the championship for the 4-H Speech Contest -11 year old group.  She will be traveling to the University of Kentucky in July for the State Communications Day to compete with others her age.  Her speech is near and dear to her heart, titled Don’t Let a Speech Delay Interfere with your Goals.
