The students in Mrs. Stewart’s Science class used shoebox light boxes to learn more about the four conditions needed to see an object-an eye, an object, a light, and a clear path between the eye and the object. Exactly what is inside the box is the mystery they needed to solve. The answer was clear once the light flap was open! However, things looked a bit different once the dividers were in place. Soon the students will be designing their own models of how we are able to see things.
