RES Hosts Veteran’s Day Celebration

Roundstone Elementary hosted their Annual Veteran’s Day Celebration on Friday, November 9th.  In the photo, we had several Veteran visitors and here they are standing in honor of the singing of “The Star-Spangled Banner”, the national anthem of the United States. RES Veteran's Day Celebration

Roundstone Elementary School collected money or any spare change to donate to the Veterans Park fund in Renfro Valley. The school collected $140. Fifth grade students, Walker Craig and Ella McKinney presented Chief Rick Bobo, who serves as the Deputy Director of Emergency Services at the Bluegrass Army Depot, with the donation during Roundstone’s Annual Veterans Day Program.

Kayden Collins, 5th grade student, and Kendall Collins, kindergarten student, have picture made with their grandmother, Betty Brinegar. Their grandmother served in the Army and Kayden shared she honors her for her sacrifice to serving in the army to protect and help our country.

Emili Wright, 5th grade student, is shown with her papaw, Chuck Hubbard. He served in the Vietnam War. Emili shared she appreciated his service.
