Personal Hygiene Drive: RCHS is in need of personal hygiene supplies. Bring in deodorant, shampoo, body wash, toothpaste etc. to your 1st period. The one that collects the most will get an ice cream party. Drive begins on Set. 29th and runs until Oct. 30th.
Juniors who are interested in applying to the Governor’s Scholars Program will have a meeting with the counselors in the auditorium on Tuesday morning immediately following announcements. Applicants should be VERY strong students who are active in school and community activities.
In honor of National Farm Safety week, the Rockcastle County FFA would like to remind you to stay safe. About 108 people are injured or killed each year due to livestock. About 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs each year in 2012, more than 27,000 people underwent reconstructive surgery as a result of being bitten by dogs. Remember to be careful around all animals.
FBLA community service committee meeting 7:30 am October 2nd in the vocational lobby. This meeting is very important, all community service committee members please be there.
DanceBlue Club members need to bring in candy and newspapers to Ms. Anderson in preparation for the October fundraising events. Also, any club member who wants to help work on the float for the parade needs to plan on staying after school next Wednesday and Thursday. See Ms. Anderson with questions, candy or newspapers.
Members of the Young Democrats club will be participating in the Bittersweet Festival Parade, Saturday-October 4th. Line up is at 11 at MVES everyone is expected to attend.
