Congrats

In March, sixty RCHS students earned End-of-Program (EOP) certificates in RCHS’s Career & Technical Education programs.  Students who pass an EOP are considered “post-secondary career ready” in their specific area of study and may qualify for college credit.

“To be post-secondary ready is a goal we have for every student–and these students have met that goal,” said RCHS Principal JD Bussell. “We are just so proud of them and the effort they put into these exams.”

The exams include over one hundred questions and cover very specific content covered in a series of classes, as well as questions related to job and workplace skills, explained Susan Norton-Casey, RCHS Career Counselor. EOPs are just one measure of career readiness for Kentucky accountability system.   The assessments are developed using standards identified by employers across Kentucky.
