Rockcastle County Schools has established a strong presence in the state golf arena, with its middle school golf team ranking among Kentucky's top five and Smoke Ford achieving an impressive milestone as the back-to-back Kentucky State Champion – the first time this has ever been accomplished.
The team's roster includes Parker Cash, Trapper Bray, Sawyer Cash, Carson Neeley, Ella Ford, Coop "Smooth" Ford, Smoke Ford, Jace Lear, Jace Doan, Kason Williams, Ollie Smith, Beckham Smith, Ashton Carter, Bryce Carter, and Brody McClure. Each of these players has contributed significantly to the team’s stellar season, displaying remarkable talent, dedication, and teamwork on the course.
As the season comes to a close, Rockcastle County celebrates not only the achievements of this year’s team but also looks forward to a bright future for its young golfers.
