The Mt. Vernon Elementary Mustangs Ministry Group warmly welcomed local heroes to their First Responder Appreciation Breakfast this morning. This heartfelt event recognized the dedication and service of officers and first responders in the community.
The program included inspiring messages, music, and prayers led by students and special guests. Cliff Williams set the tone with a moving musical performance, followed by a prayer led by Dennis Wilder. Student leader Cooper Ford extended a warm welcome and shared a heartfelt “Thank You” on behalf of the Mustangs Ministry Group to all officers and first responders in attendance.
Darren Allen offered a powerful devotion and prayer, reminding attendees of the importance of service and gratitude. The Mustang Student Ministry Prayer Group then led a reflective session, featuring a memory verse shared by Cooper Ford, a group praise session, and a devotion delivered by Henry Rader.
The event concluded with a prayer and dismissal led by Gavin Chrisman, leaving attendees uplifted and appreciated for their invaluable contributions to the community.
