Students put their spelling skills to the test today at the annual Rockcastle County Schools District Spelling Bee, hosted by the GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) department. Competitors from across the district showcased their hard work and talent in an exciting and challenging event.
In the middle school division, Carabella Mink emerged as the 1st place champion, followed by Gabe Sowder in 2nd place and Jasper Reynolds in 3rd place. Among elementary school competitors, Noah Bullock took home 1st place, with Addy Carter earning 2nd place and Henry Rader securing 3rd place.
