Rockcastle County Judge Executive Howell Holbrook visited the Rockcastle County Area Technology Center to officially recognize the importance of Career and Technical Education (CTE) in our community. During his visit, Judge Holbrook signed a proclamation declaring February as Career and Technical Education Month in Rockcastle County.
This proclamation highlights the vital role that CTE programs play in preparing students for successful careers in various industries. Student officers from FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), and SkillsUSA joined Judge Holbrook for the signing, celebrating the impact of hands-on learning and workforce development opportunities.
Rockcastle County Schools is proud to offer a strong CTE program that equips students with the skills and experience needed to excel in their chosen career paths. Throughout February, the district will spotlight the success of students and educators who contribute to the growth of CTE programs in our schools.
