Rockcastle Area Technology Center students proudly represented their school and community at the 2025 HOSA State Leadership Conference, held in Louisville, Kentucky, from March 20th–22nd. HOSA – Future Health Professionals – empowers students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for successful careers in the healthcare industry, and this year's competition provided an exciting platform for Rockcastle’s future healthcare leaders to thrive.
We are thrilled to announce that senior Caitlyn Kirby earned 4th place in the Nursing Assistant Skills competition, showcasing outstanding clinical abilities and professionalism.
In addition to competing, students participated in hands-on learning experiences and community service projects, including the “Stop the Bleed” training, surgical knot-tying techniques, crafting NICU sock lovies, blood donation, and making tie blankets for those in need.
