Earlier this week, students in Mr. Teague's 3rd period participated in gallery walk while studying the foundations of government. Students stayed actively engaged in their learning as they moved to different images along the hallway!

On Wednesday, we welcomed approximately 450 students to the high school for Rocket Blast-Off! Students picked up course schedules, visited with friends and teachers, engaged with community partners, and toured the building.

Our Lighthouse Leaders did an amazing job leading 9th grade orientation last Wednesday afternoon! These students showed tremendous leadership as they collaborated to lead their own small group activities with their assigned team members. RCHS Light House Leaders went through their annual freshman orientation training today! These Rocket Leaders are looking forward to welcoming the Freshman Class of 2030 on Wednesday, August 19th.
Our special student-led freshmen orientation will take place from 12-3pm, and parents can meet back up with their students at 3 for open house!

Juniors & Seniors, get the support you need to improve your ACT (or SAT) Math score with RCHS IGNITE! Meet during the school day, get a higher ACT score, and receive high school elective credit.

Through a powerful partnership with Teach for America IGNITE , we are launching a high-dosage tutoring program specifically designed for seniors to meet that ACT Math benchmark. SCC and EKU classes begin Monday, August 17! Students, get ready for your dual credit classes by attending Dual Credit Orientation on August 13. You can attend anytime 1:00 - 8:00 PM. Remember, some juniors and seniors will qualify for a fee waiver.
Be aware that we may not be able to offer school day testing as we have in the past, so seniors should definitely get registered for this exam.
