Congratulations to our 2026 Governor's Scholars Lucas Saylor and Callie Thacker! These students will participate in the GSP six-week program on one of three college campuses this summer: Centre College, Morehead State, or Murray State.

The Governor’s Scholars Program is a summer residential program for outstanding high school students in Kentucky who are rising seniors. In order to participate in the Program, students must be nominated by their high schools and then compete on a state-wide level. Selection for the program is highly competitive, with an application process similar to that of prestigious colleges and universities.

Wednesday was a big day for the Class of 2026--it was the day we distributed caps and gowns! Seniors who were not present during homeroom can pick theirs up in the office. We are still waiting on late orders and will announce when those are in. MRO students may want to verify their cap and gown order has arrived before stopping by.

RCHS Juniors began SAT testing today, and testing will continue for all juniors over the next several days. Those students who miss their regularly scheduled testing date will be given a make-up opportunity; however, that date has not yet been set. As soon as we set that date, we will share it with students.
