Bus Route Update – February 12, 2025 🚍
All Rockcastle County bus routes will run on their normal schedule tomorrow, Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Rockcastle County Schools will be in session on Wednesday, February, 12th 2025. 🚀
Please note that some bus routes have been modified. For full details, refer to the graphic, visit our website, or use the district app.
We are continuing to monitor road conditions in hopes they will continue to improve. A decision regarding school for Wednesday, February 12th will be made by 5:30 AM.

Sophomores have an opportunity to take the ACT for free in March, but time is running out to sign up.

Today, 150 RCHS students were rewarded for their dedication to attendance with a fun-filled trip! 🎳✨
They enjoyed bowling, games, and great food as a celebration of their commitment to showing up and giving their best. A huge thank you to Galaxy Bowling of Richmond for hosting our Rockets! 🚀

*ATC students attending the Toyota trip next week will need to turn in their permission slip by Monday February 10th. If you do not plan to attend, please notify your ATC teacher ASAP.
*Students on the attendance reward trip will return around 1:00 this afternoon.
*The ASVAB is Wednesday, Feb. 12. If you are a senior or junior wanting to sign up, see Mrs. Susan Norton-Casey in the Gear Up office. The deadline is tomorrow!

🏀 Celebrating a Legacy 🏀
On Friday, February 7, Rockcastle County High School will honor Coach Chrysti Noble by renaming the gym floor in her name, recognizing her 34 years of dedication to our athletes and community. The dedication will take place between the girls and boys games, with the girls game starting at 6 PM.
A special reception will follow for former players and coaches to celebrate this milestone. Be part of this momentous occasion!
Welcome to February!
1. Grade level meetings begin today with 9th graders during 7th period; 10th graders will meet tomorrow.
2. Thursday is the BIG attendance awards trip! Eligible students need to pick up a permission form today at lunch.
3. Rock Time begins on Wednesday! All students should have stickers inside their handbook with their assigned location. If you do not, please ask now!
4. Interested in joining Honors Choir next year? See Mrs. Burdette in Room 307 for audition information.
5. Students can sign up for the April ACT now. This test is on Saturday, April 5. The digital version will be the new and shorter version of the exam. See Mrs. Norton-Casey in Room 106 if you want more information. Cost is $69; juniors and seniors can use a waiver up to two times per year.

Big changes are coming to the ACT in April. Students who test online in April, June, and July will find an exam with fewer questions and an optional science section. Until September, these changes can only be found on the digital ACT on national test dates.
Registration for the April test is open now!
