The 2025 FAFSA Workshop will be on October 13 from 2:00 to 6:00.
KHEAA Representative Joplin Rice will be at RCHS to help you with your FAFSA. Parents are welcome anytime from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. See the attached flyer for more specific information and a list of items you will need to bring with you.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Three students auditioned for the 2025 SKMA All Festival Choir, and all three made it!!! The students are Moira Neely, Susanne Mullins, and Kaylee Neal. Special congratulations to Susanne who earned an almost perfect score!

Parents/Guardians, please sign into parent portal to complete online registration. Club day will be this Friday, and the deadline for school day PSAT and SAT is also on Friday.

The Rockcastle County Lady Rockets secured their first-ever program victory today! 🙌 In just the second year of RCHS Soccer, under the leadership of Head Coach Kevin Conforti and Assistant Coach Emma Judd, the Lady Rockets defeated McCreary County 2–0 at home on September 27.
👏 Congratulations, Lady Rockets! We’re so proud of this milestone and can’t wait to see many more victories as this program continues to grow. 💪❤️⚽️

Yesterday, KDE announced that the spring college admissions exam required for all juniors in Kentucky will be the College Board's SAT. This is a switch from the ACT, which has been given to juniors for several years.
We are excited to say that RCHS already offers both the SAT and the ACT to our students, so the adjustment to a new spring assessment will be a smooth one. Both exams offer our students the chance to showcase their learning through exams that are accepted by colleges and universities in Kentucky and around the country. Both exams are also recognized by scholarship programs and for KEES funds.
The attached graphic provides a brief comparison of the two exams.
Registration is currently open for SAT School Day, PSAT School Day, SAT Saturdays, and ACT Weekends. See Ms. Susan Norton-Casey for more information!
